Rell[]
Rell is the southernmost continent on Iraelon. Though once a lush jungle, after the Sundering the continent began to become more and more barren, turning into a harsh and unforgiving desert. The area was once inhabited by the Volnier, a technologically and magically advanced civilization, but it is now the home to the Relfan, a race of emotionless humanoids that were once created by the Volnier. The largest major city known currently is the port city of Voltar, located on the northern coast of Rell. Voltar is a huge trade city, being the only truly neutral nation in the conflict between Gelthis and the Unified Draconic Empire.
The inner part of the continent is riddled with ruins and ancient buildings left behind by the Volnier, all consumed by the encroaching sands. Many adventurers use the city of Voltar as a starting point to head into the inhospitable Seas of Sand in search of treasure. Most never return, but some have brought back riches and rumors of land still untouched by the choking sands.
